After a public scandal breaks out, Young-jae proposes a marriage of convenience, offering to give Ji-eun the Full House itself as her eventual alimony.

Young-jae's grandmother and mother scold Ji-eun for never visiting, and he stands her up for a planned meeting.

Young-jae retreats to a monastery; with him gone, Min-hyuk proposes to Ji-eun, but Young-jae returns to the Full House after being misled into thinking Min-hyuk has abandoned her.

Ji-eun turns down Young-jae's proposal, but he goes to extraordinary lengths to win her back — and finally lays his true feelings bare, reuniting with her at last.
